Intense youth, coming of age drama series of young people, Sungkyunkwan (成均館)!!
A new historical drama setting, Sungkyunkwan (成均館)!!
Everyone knows Sungkyunkwan, the highest educational agency of the Joseon era, but no one knows it well. It has always been a background to a story, but this time Sungkyunkwan itself takes center stage. Sungkyunkwan was more than an academy. It was also the site of political feuds where people posted writings on walls in a life-risking attempt to speak to the king and where officials desperately tried to catch the culprits.
But most of all, it was a place of vibrant youth where students strove to put friendship and love before the stringent rules of the academy.
For the first time, a period series sheds light on the 500 year old Korean academic institute of Sungkyunkwan.
Intense youth, coming of age youth drama
This is the story of Yunhee, who believes there's no one to trust in the world except for herself, and three men she encounters, Seonjun, the arrogant dogmatist, Jaesin, the rebel and Yongha, the cynic.
She enters Sungkyunkwan as a pupil and the story is her journey of growth and reaching the state of "Sungkyun (harmony)."
The strong, vivid characters make a colorful storyline which will be empathized with by young viewers and also shared by adults who look back on their young years. It will an encouraging, motiviating series to any and all viewers.

Can she pull this off? She is excited and nervous. She must survive at Sungkyunkwan without getting caught, without revealing her identity.
Men and women were strictly divided socially during the Confucianist Joseon era and Sungkyunkwan was off limits to women. Kim Yunhee ventures into this all male institute. She will die if she is caught.
Her survival story is studded with misunderstanding and incidents.
The tension is unbearable! She needs to hide and there are those who want to unveil her secret. They chase after each other.
There's also heartrending love. This love story questions the essence of love.
a little boring at 1st(same with many shows) but gets better by the 3rd ep. make me want to watch more! i think it is twice weekly since it only started showing on 30 August and has 6 ep to date.. ahhh~~ yoochun and the 2nd lead actor Song Joong-ki wa mabushii desu~ their smiles are really something to look forward to esp yoochun~

想买的东西：
1 月：WII!! after a month, i'm starting to feel the pinch.. ouch! y the hell did i get a japan set which cost 150 more than US set? lol.. whatever la..
2 月：Jap course fee
on top of monthly contribution, additional amount given to my grandmas and mummy for cny food..
BSB and SHE concert.. i really spent so much.. now then i realise...
control spending from this moment..
3 月: bought lots of novels..
4 月：Jap course fee + 剪发
5 月：换眼镜 + alot of clothes bought over the past few months. quite enough. no more!
6 月：Jap course fee + 换新手机!
7 月：Jap course fee + JAY's concert!
8 月：Jap course fee + 短い旅行する！+ 髪を切る + wii game

koike teppei is as usual very cute la.. he is not that short but with the actress already taller than him and wearing heels, the contrast is super obvious.. but this is still a super funny show.. i like the way they speak.. can catch some of the sentences..Labels: ohitorisama

Synopsis:

25 July sun: Jay's concert! finally today arrives..it's always like that for me. i do not feel exceptionally excited until i enter the place.. very last min.. it does not feel like real until it actually happens.. hahaha..
there is a reason why so many ppl like him and supported him.. like S.H.E., he is another idol we have followed thru for 10 years.. awww...
since we are located kind of far away from the stage, we have been waiting for the chance to stand up but the ppl ard us are kind of calm. we sway our lightsticks so hard that our hands ache. we scream and shouted and it just feels so good.. everything feels right and i thank yy's fren for being able to get us the tickets.. not as touching as S.H.E's concert but it's high!!
i like it when he says:" if i dont see the whole stadium stand up, I'll not continue singing..." waahaaha..
i like the sing along, i like how he engages the audience. everything just feels so right..
jay says:" he is only 31, enjoying his life as a bachelor, not hurrying to find a gf or to get marry.. he still wants to sing for another 10 years.."
i am much younger than he is, i have more to do, i also hope to have dreams and fulfil them one day.
who cares abt his news on gf, how he treats reporters etc, he is who he is.

Synopsis:
Taro Sato (Yusuke Kamiji) has been poor all his life. 十七日 夜～二十日夜：Redangへ行った。 空が晴れたし、海がきれいだし。。気持ちいい！

3rd July sat: went to help my parents.. then went for japanese class.. lastly went amk for dinner as a birthday celebration for my daddy! --.-- sleepy..
6th July tue: went for excel course today.. good learning..
7th July wed: my daddy's birthday! cake cutting ceremony~~
9th July fri: start of advanced jap class.. another burn in my pocket.. >.<
10 July sat: a routine to go help my parents huh... but i quite like it even though my whole day is burn off in this way.. maybe bcos it's a once in awhile thing. takes my mind off work.
15 July thu: stella's birthday celebration!

16th July fri: watched INCEPTION with my classmates today after class. this movie event cost me $30 since got to take cab back after that but it is worth every cent and dollar spent!
17th July sat: went for swensens dinner with my brother.. hahaha.. since i got a $20 voucher, he paid for the remaining $30 plus.. ate so much i almost puke..
18 July Sun: my mum's brithday celebration!! in my grandma's house, since my house is in a mess, unable to host.. play wii, board games etc.. ate western food and 933 golden pillow.. lastly the chendol cake.. well the taste is not too bad but...
21 July wed: since i need to by pass town from work, i took a longer route to bugis instead of orchard today to see Jay! even though i know i do not stand a chance in seeing him but i still feel the need to go.. =P but instead met up with yy and suna and have dinner in Swensens again.. their desserts is the best!!
22 July thu: went shopping for groceries today.. have been thinking of changing hair colour for sometime.. my style this time is tone down.. and damn it, it is super dark!
23 July fri: buy toto but never strike.. try harder next time.. hahaha..
my mum's birthday but never see her today so wish her through sms..
I went for class then come back yishun and watch DESPICABLE ME with mf.. i like the part where they photocopy their butt and keep laughing at it.. lol.. omg..
finally GV Yishun is gg to go through renovation.. i'm looking forward to the new theatre 3 months later..
