22.11.09 sunday: went ktv again! hahaa.. it's good to sing with different groups of people so that i can get to know more new songs.. happy~ downloaded them as soon as i got home.. listening to it so that i can sing them the next time! yay~
after which, we went to ichiban sushi @ cwp. since i'm a loyal member of sakae sushi, i seldom go to other sushi restaurants.. hahaa.. it's good in its own way.. there's a variety of food which is more attractive than sushi.. oishii~
26.11.09 thu: i'm working hard these few weeks.. i'm not playing games in fb anymore after my com break down. even after i do up a new cpu, there is no urge to play those games.. =P
even though there is still alot of funny stuffs happening, my mood is still happy after my korea trip.. we need to loosen and reward ourselves at times. dont be too hard on yourself!

I wasnt into this show in the past. When i watched the 1st ep of this show i saw Allison and i love her big eyes. Except for her eyes her performance was kind of average. i wanted to know how far she will go and watched the show week after week. Guess what? she has the potential but lack of confidence. She actually went all the way to the final 2! Like what the judges said, Allison is the most improved but Teyona has been a steady performer and has to urge to win. =D
27.11.09 fri: i woke up @ 8 plus today and decide to see if my meimei is on her way home. she worked night shift yesterday. we went ya kun for breakfast.
after we went home, a guy came to promote Vittles, a restaurant that is near the drive thru mac. i bought a dining card @ $30, which entitles me 2 free nachos and mud pie on the 1st visit. For every visit, I'll be able to get 1 for 1 maincourse till 30 April 2010. so i guess i'll frequent this eatery very often..
I went for a haircut( my hair still seems to be very long..) and of course, bought shampoo and gel.. hahs.. my shampoo is running low and the gel seems good, so let me give it a try..
Went for lunch with fang @ northpoint.. like i always said, i seem to be the person with most time in the world. just ask me out and most probably i'll be free~ We sat in sakae for hours. She ordered this cheese katsu which is really yummy but sinful..
it's good to gather with friends once or twice a month so that we can update each other on our conditions lately. =)

28.11.09 sat: my meimei msg me this morning and ask if i wanted breakfast. okie. i had wanted to go running for weeks and i'm just too lazy.. ahh.. let me be fat... and so we went for mac and i went back to my lala land after reaching home. wahaha..
i cannot wait to try out vittles. so my family went to this restaurant for dinner.. got a very shuai didi served us.. hahaa.. anyway, some of the dishes taste good, some are just so-so.. but still i'll continue going since i already bought the card. price is low and no service charge. miss clarity would taste better~
on friday the 13th, this colleague said i look cute while eating.. i'm really disgusted by the comment.. i'm only trying to finish fast since others had finished and that i do not like talking with my mouth full. i just wanted to enjoy my food. i will not get to know him if not for the 10 legged colleague. thanks to her.. somehow, she seem to like him. he went on to say:"i'm seem to be uninterested in things, what must i do to get your attention?" and many more which i had forgotten. y the hell do u need my attention? just concentrate on your work, your life and your gf.. idiot..
1st look at him, my partner and i already can guess what kind of person he is. cannot talk face to face but alot of nonsense over chat. he is someone u should only stay as colleague and nothing more, not even friends. not surprised by all the things he said, only disgusted. i dont like to interact, but he's worse than me. i dont need another replica in my life.
i went for accpuncture the 1st time on 13th. the pricking of needles is not really painful but my right leg feels loosen compare to the left which nothing was done. went for it the 2nd time on 20th. this time round, it's pain with sore.. the sinseh was like turning in the needles.. ahhhh.. but both legs feel better after that =D
paid for my jap lesson that is going to commence on 8th dec.. practise on conversation skills.. smt which i'm really bad in.. jia you!
watched this show with my sis today. had saw its preview umpteen times and i thought it is a show not to be missed. the start of the show was interesting, causing me to go ahhh~ but it's really disappointing towards the end.. the ending really killed all the exciting parts in front. an above average show..
yy bday cele! good thing is that I went korea before her bday and she's into korean pop.. so things bought as her birthday gift(idols stuff) are appreciated.. Hahaa.. I think she's the one earliest who watched those korean variety show. It is until 1 or 2 years later then I started to watch a lot of it.. I wasn’t into DBSK. I'm into TVXQ. Lol.. The difference is in the language of the songs they sang. I thought their jap songs sounds better.. =P

During the period of my com breakdown, I had to turned to television programme to kill my time and boredom. watched this show 桃花小妹. the storyline is kind of stupid but I loved watching Huang Jing Lun. somehow when cyndi try to act cute in front of him, I can accept. Watching the 2 makes me laugh.. Hahaaa.. The 1st time I saw Jiro in this show, I'm like:"what happen to his hair?" But after looking at it for sometime, I think it suits him! Not many can pull off that kind of hair.. Cool..
My uncle's birthday celebration! We( my siblings together with my uncle) went to Dian Xiao Er in AMK Hub. We ordered the executive set, yes, the most expensive one, another mini buddha jump over the wall for my uncle. the gst and service charge is steep! This meal costs me $200! well, since it's a once a year thing, forget about the money. I did eat too.. we went on to kbox. My uncle, like my father, is very good in singing. I guess it's hereditary. Haha.. They should go singing together someday. another 100 bucks.. Well for the fun of it. Once in a long while so.. I enjoyed the day too~

i'm single and i really have all the time in the world.. i'm flexible and i can meet up anytime.. after going through the trouble of buying stuff for people from overseas i still have to do the crap of meeting up. sat cannot, then fri. fri cannot. then given a grace period of mon to thu, finally decided on wed. then funny enough, wanted to meet on fri again. u think it's fun? as usual, people are just so damn fucking busy that they cannot find a common day to meet. Audrey is right. Y buy stuff on others' behalf and go through all these nonsense just because they are trying to save money.. i'm being nice but really, dont abuse it. let me accumulate some good karma k.. ya let me try not writing complaints in my blog for 3 days.. wahahaha..
my sis bought a copy of the nov cleo mag. it's so thick that reading it on and off while on bus rides can actually last me the whole month! I love the contents and it sets me thinking many times after reading an article. sometimes I go back to an article over and over again to remind me of some details that I thought is interesting. some makes me laugh and sometimes I would try out the advise given. interesting! Long live cleo!
Friday 6.11.09 I went for my last japanese lesson for the intermediate stage today. The teacher is quite puzzled why I join in the intermediate lesson since I already pass JLPT 3. well, I need a revision. It is afterall 2 years since I went for lesson. now, I'm having a month's break from lesson as the school is preparing them for JLPT. I have to decide which class I want to go from December onwards. Do I go for the pre-advance class that focus on speech or do I go for the JLPT 2 course that is gg to last for a year long? sensei said that it is a big jump from JLPT 3 to 2. That's why a year of preparing is required. Going through the pre advance class to advance classes is going to take me 2 years before I take JLPT 2. I think if I'm in for some serious business, I should take the JLPT 2 prep course. But at the same time, I want to improve on conversation which I kind of blank out everytime. Lol.. I have been to classes taught by 3 different sensei.. Yea in 11 short lessons, I joined different classes due to schedule clash. I still like Ishida's sensei class. haiz.. I have to make decision and pay before 22.11.09 money money money.. haha.. I'm not loaded and not earning a lot.. I'm just willing to spend.. u know how people can jump to conclusion that u are rich, when u go overseas, buy this and that.. Why people always think this way? but the worse kind are those who keep saying, no money no money cos I buy this and that.. Or I need to save up for this and that.. Whatever.. then stop spending and stop chanting. we are not peer anymore but is she feeling the pressure? haha.. I'm very into observing people and critising is like my life time job.. I do not remember the people here keep shopping when I joined this dept. I felt like I was the only one who knew how to dress up.. Hahs.. Arrogant hor.. then one lady start to have a regular change in clothes.. But I think it's good. She has nice taste and should do some changes and not wear the same thing over and over again.. Wont u feel bored by the repeated set of clothes u can predict yourself wearing from mon to fri? i mean we are still young and this is the time to show off.. then one is somewhat like me, would join online spree, would go overseas once a year to buy.. then one, exaggerated, bought shoes as if she has ten pairs of legs. ==" from the numbers of shoes she said she has bought, it's like 10 to 15 pairs in 3 months? I buy shoes that are comfy and cheap. According to records, to date, I went overseas twice a year since I started working. so I have bought 3-4 pairs on each trip and they kind of last me to date. not many people would notice your shoes unless you are wearing striking colours or they really do not match your clothes. I think it is okie to buy 3 pieces of clothings every month but there is no need to buy 3 pairs of shoes every month. spend smartly not blindly.
Saturday 7.11.09 I decided that I should do up a new cpu. The current one has been hanging itself till it gave up on itself. It's been a month since it failed to work. Over a month, I went overseas and use my sis's lappie on and off. good thing is I saw the coming of this tragic ending and I backup everything to my external harddisk. I'm so afraid of crashing her lappie cos I changed my cpu once every 2 years. Is this normal? my colleague intro another colleague to PC Themes in SLS sometime in May when she wanted to do up a cpu. Price is cheap and everything is still fine to date. so I went down today. I guess they have many customers that go to them to assemble cpu to the point that they made packages' pricelist. I told the guy I'm only using it for streaming dramas not downloading, surf net, do some microsoft office stuff and most importantly not a frequent gamer and he says the most basic package of S388 would do. add $8 to upgrade to 320gb hdd. Well originally it's 250gb. Even though I do not need a space of 250gb(not to mention 320gb) I still did the upgrade.. Haha.. I bought the newest windows 7( he said nobody uses vista. It's either 7 or xp). it cost me a total of SGD565 with free speaker, keyboard and optical mouse. that's not all. I got my brother to come down later and carry for me. Treat him to dinner and took a cab back. all in all, the new cpu cost 600. it's still a bargain right? sad thing is the new windows is not compatible with the cd for my hp. I cannot transfer out the photos and need to take out the microSD in it.. Troublesome.. I must bring my camera around for photo taking. PS: I should have upgrade my ram.. =( Sunday 8.11.09 I had a sore throat today. Even though I would like to take mc very much but I do not want to be sick. I drank a lot of herbal tea and ate panadol before I went to bed. My family went to crystal jade and had dinner today because we had vouchers to use. It is my 1st time setting my foot into Crystal Jade @ CWP. I prefer Din Tai Feng, even though it has fewer choices. The setting for Crystal Jade looks worse than Xin Wang. I had only taken dinner on both Saturday and Sunday. I had no time to eat on Saturday and I forgot to eat on Sunday. Lol..
Tuesday 10.11.09 the colleague that has ten legs told me today what she had done and HOW MUCH SHE HAD SPENT over the weekend.. she was nice enough to drop me at sim lim since she's gg to bugis too. then she went to eat laksa steamboat with her friend, ate 100 plus dollars. they went to shop for necessity and her friend urge her to buy a bag together(and they did!) that bag at 1st sight looks quite pretty, at 2nd look, it's too small with big handle. after listening to the price, it is not worth buying at all. $76!! I might as well top up and buy a branded bag.. she also went to robinson sale and bought matress cover, pillow cover, new pillow, new blah blah.. Total $200 plus.. and she's so happy and proud when she said, "wa I have spent over $300 in 2 days.." duh.. It's like she's trying to boast.. But what the fuck is there to be hao lian about? so I shoot her:" I have spent $600 in 2 hours to assemble cpu…" she:" no it's not the same!" me:"how come? It's money lei.. I spent close to 2000 for korean won in oct, few hundreds for my air tics in sept, all these not including my daily expenses yet.."
her pay may be slightly higher than mine but she needs to take care of her car, her dogs.. Ya u got yourself a capable husband but that's not the way to spend..

My co's annual D&D! The theme is related to travelling, so you can wear any kinds of clothings.. i think it's good, so that you do not have to dress too formally.. this time round, it is a sit down dinner.. hahaa.. had buffet for the last 2 years, at MOS and Cafe Del Mar.. at least this time round, we do not have to vie for food or space.. =P
21.10.09 Wednesday flying off tonight.. Had packed my luggage over the weekend.. Not expecting anything, not feeling very excited too.. duno what to expect since it's a totally new experience.. I just know that I'm away from office, from home and from computer for the next 7 days..
The 1st time I'm gg to a place where I do not know its language. I have heard negative things about this place, like how the people there do not know english and they shun off when u tried asking. No shuai ge on the roads, shuai ones are all on tv programs. but i'm kind of familiar with its shows.. i watched alot of their variety shows and it's really interesting..
I did some research beforehand but information seems vague.. 1 thing that i did not reseach on is how to speak its language.. i think it would be useful if i know abit.. =P
I decided to bring only a jacket and a cardigan as the highest temperature is 20, lowest is 8. so it should be okie..(I'm wrong..) brought my boots, 2nd time I'm wearing since I bought it last year.. it's a 2 person trip again, this time with my primary school mate. I quite like going on a trip with 1 or 2 friends. few and sweet. even though there may be periods of slience and not as loud as a trip with many people. while I wanted to have a getaway to anywhere, she's interested in going to korea, so off we go!
Audrey was sick. Sounds serious by the way she cough and sneeze.. Ahhh.. It's really hard and tiresome to travel when you are sick.. the flight to korea is super empty that we can take a row of 3 seats and lie down to sleep.. =D
22.10.09 Thursday Day 1 it's cold when we arrive, wearing my jeans jacket does not help and I know I'm dead.. Haha.. we bought the ticket for airport bus to our service apartment @ only 9000won.. it's a 10 - 15 min wak from sejong hotel. I never imaigne the place that I'm going to stay is so prefect! Makes me want to stay there forever.. I'll definitely visit Korea again because of this wonderful apartment.. we went around myeongdong then to dongdaemun and back to myeongdong for the 1st day.. dongdaemun has many shopping centres but are quite deserted. So it becomes difficult to shop. Moreover, we are unable to communicate.. myeongdong has all the beauty products! The sales assistants in each shop can speak in chinese, japanese and of course korean. It's wonderful isnt it..
23.10.09 Friday Day 2 We are suppose to go to Everland today, but I guess we are still not quite ready for an adventure yet. We went to Lotte World instead. it is like genting highland, has an indoor and outdoor park. We only spent like 4-5 hours there before we went for 'lunch' then back to myeongdong for shopping.
Because of the late lunch, I do not crave for dinner that night.. the variety shows are really interesting to watch even though we do not understand its language, we could laugh at actions they did.. I want to watch the new "WE GOT MARRIED"!!
24.10.09 Saturday Day 3 went to convenient store to grab our breakfast before we went to myeongdong cathedral. There is a couple getting married and we sit in to watch the process. It wasn’t like drama that we watched, it was such a loooonnnng process….. next, we went to ewha womans university station. I guess because it is near school, so it has more shopping that can be done..
after that it was to hongdae university free market that is only available on saturdays.
suppose to go back myeongdong and watched "break out" but I did not do time check so did not watched in the end. decided to forgo since it is quite ex for a 90 min show.. better to spend on shopping!!
went for lunch cum dinner again before we set off for Seoul tower.. the walk to the cable car area is kind of far.. There was this long queue when we reached.. I guess it is because it's weekend.
when we reach seoul tower, we had to wait for our turn to go up the tower.. up in the tower, there was this machine where it took our picture and generate into a piece of drawing @ only 5000won if I'm not wrong.. Quite cheap for the sake of fun and memory.
on our way back, we forgo our cable car ticket since there is no end to the queue and walked down instead.. Had wanted to go on the 1st day and the 2nd day @ 9 or 10 pm.. Luckily we did not as we spent some 4 hours overrall.
bought dinner cum supper home.. Delicious! my legs was aching with the continuous walking. Having sprain my both legs before, it always have the feel of being sprain whenever I walked too much.. Too bad I did not bring salonpas.. because of the weather, I brought eyedrops in case, eyes become too dry with contacts on. because I always have the problems of constipation, I brought fibre(which is kind of useless) and medicatred oil.. because there will be times where I ate too full and feel like performing the merlion act, I brought sour plum..(thought I will not be able to finish even though I only bought a 100g but it is useful when Audrey felt like puking after too much exciting rides.. =P)
25.10.09 Sunday Day 4 went to have fresh seafood today! Gave up Busan since it cost too much to travel. Wise choice as we would have more money to spend.. good thing there was this lady that called out to us in mandarin. We bought the seafood from her and went up to the restaurant where they cooked up the food for us immediately.. 1st time eating live squid and abalone. after having a very filling meal, we went to gyeongbokgung. The 1st historical place we came to.. Hehee..
Next, we went to COEX, to kimchi museum. COEX is such a huge shopping centre that we did not have time to cover.. Sad.. The KimChi museum was so small but it displays all the different kinds of kimchi.. what was tiring was to take transfers within the subways. It has 9 lines and there was so much walking to be done from one line to another..
if I'm not wrong, within the 1st 1km, it's 900 won, deducted when u scan your way into the subway. when u exceed the distance they will minus the amount from your card when u exit. something different about seoul subways. U could eat and drink. I do not see any signs saying no eating and drinking or be fined. Next, people do sales on board. Hahaa.. because of the very long transfer lines they had, there are shops within the subways. after that we went to 63 city building. Had wanted to catch the sunset but it's already so dark when we finally reached.
spent sometime there before we proceed to Han river. Audrey wanted to go to the place where water musical is performed. By the time we did all the train transfer, it's already 10pm. Too late. But we still went there for a walk. As we did not know the direction to the place, we asked a lady who turns out to be able to speak a good command of english(with an accent and better than me.. hahaa) since she was not too sure of the direction, she helped us asked an old couple who said that they will be going there for a walk and we could tag along! How nice! the couple can speak english enough for our understanding. After 4 days here, I seldom heard people speak english that well, not even youngsters. the thing that I did not like, is adults and children alike, they pushed their way through without saying excuse me or sorry. but when I tried asking for directions, they would be nice enough to tell me or ask others on our behalf, even to the extend of showing us the way. This bursts all the myth people had been telling me.
25.10.09 Monday Day 5 Everland! My 1st time taking so many different kinds of rides which I do not think I'll be able to if I went on this trip with other friends.. Lol.. many of my close friends share similar characters as me so I could roughly guess what can be done and what cannot. Audrey seems to have similar interests with me in general but different in tastes. She is a more adventurous person. maybe I just need some push and encouragement from friends.. A new try.. We spent the whole day here till it closed @ 2130. Could not get more souvenirs from the shops as they are already chasing people out of the shops. The EverMart sells so many stuffs that I think foodstuffs should be bought from here instead. We went to an eatery near our apartment. I should not have ordered any food cos I'm actually kind of full.. Haiz.. The sad thing is the noodles I ordered was not tasty at all. I'm gorging food down my throat these few days, eating more than I could.
26.10.09 Tuesday Day 6 The day where I spent most of my won.. Lol.. It's like the 2nd last day, I do not want to bring home the won.. we went for myeongdong jiaozi for our "branch". Ordered too much.. Lol.. then we went to itaewon, the place where there is most foreigners. A few people introduce us to go this place but obviously it is not very suitable for us. We went back to Ewha again, this time covering more areas and buying more stuffs. Wahahaa.. lastly back to myeongdong again. Bought kimbap, fried prawns, sausage and cook cup noodles. I love the prawn soup~ we slept at maybe 2 or 3 am every night, woke up at 9.. tonight, our last night here, we slept at 4 plus as we are doing the final packing.
27.10.09 Wednesday Day 7 Last day. Cannot find any supermarket around to buy foodstuffs. Even the lotte department store did not offer decent food. last check on stuffs to buy in myeongdong. I also did a crazy act of buying 300000 won worth of stuffs to get a new cute luggage..
i realised i buy things in a flash. i dont look around to compare, i dont say things like,"maybe the next store would be cheaper.." in buying stuffs, i believe in love @ 1st sight. lol.. things that i like when i 1st saw, i must quickly buy. no room for hesitation. if i were to ponder again, then i should not buy as i'm sure i'll regret buying. hahaa.. Audrey did inform me that she likes to spend time looking around.. no hurry, just dont feel stress to see me done with shopping and stand one side.. i just dont continue looking when i felt that there's nothing else to see.. that's me.. hehe..
with 2 luggage, a bag and a plastic bag, I set off from apartment to the stop for airport bus. It's so hard to pull and we had to pull the luggage alongside the cars. Imagine that. When I went to hokkaido for 10 days last year, with all those winter clothing, my luggage is not as heavy as now.(well i did not buy much stuff in japan) at that moment, I wish I was staying in sejong hotel. There would be someone to help me with my luggage and the airport bus is right at its doorstep. But that's out of question cos it's expensive..
did tax refund in the airport. Only get to know on the 2nd last day. Now I know, nextt ime I shall buy all goods together and not a bit here and there. If not the amount is not enough for refund.

the flight back is so crowded, with all indians sitting in the middle wing. There's this long man sitting on our row. Audrey had to tap him so many times before we can have a chance to visit the toilet.
I watched 2 shows, Enchanted and Night at the museum 2 before I took a nap. It was already 2am when I reached home. My dear brother who normally did not sleep so early was already sleeping. Even though I msged him and he agreed to come down and help me with my luggage, he did not appear in the end. ==" I could still pull the luggages back home by myself. no problem. the taxi uncle asked y no people came down to help me.. sob.. I still had to open my luggage for my keys. When I was opening my door, the door swung open and my sister went:" you are back!" great.. So u were not asleep yet. Forgot to check with her if she had offdays when I'm in korea.
28.10.09 Thursday I slept for less than 4 hours and I reported back to office the next day for stocktake. I took forever to key a few invoices. My soul was still lying in bed.. My heart was still in seoul.. Hahhaa.. Even though my supervisor says I'm still able to rush my work, but I could not resist the sleepness in me and I quickly exit from office when the clock strike 1730.. one thing I forgot is to bring tweezer to Korea. My brows are very out of shape and messy by the 3rd day? Before I head home to look for my soul in bed, I went for threading.
31.10.09 Saturday finally finished unpacking before going to aloha for my baby sister's 21st birthday celebration. ate and ate and ate again. my birthday gift to her was the 2kg cake from awfully chocolate. Tasty!! hope she had a fun celebration~ a nice gathering for all the family members.
Thinking back, my trip to seoul was quite an enjoyable one, covering most of the places we wanted to go.. I spent all my won and sign visa for another 400 plus but I still think I did not buy enough.(well out of it, about 300 dollars are orders from friends..) I did not buy enough masks! Only bought 4 packets and I gave away half.
Audrey was quite sick but she look very fresh and hyper. Lol.. I'm the one who looked sick instead. Too constipated and awful pain from legs.. Wahahaa..
I realised many times, she would go" u understand what I mean?" lol.. I must have gave the look of not paying attention.. Haha.. Don’t worry, I'm just listening attentively. I'm not the kind to prompt, oh, so what happen after that? I would just listen and listen, think before i reply.. so maybe after u had talk and we continue walking for a while, then i'll go," ya just now u were saying blah blah, i think..." kekeke.. my eyes are kind of blur when I do not sleep enough, so I would have the very sian look by the end of the day.
I would love to go Korea, Seoul again for a more relaxed trip. Can sleep till 10am in the morning and sleep earlier at night. spend more time in the serviced apartment to relax, not just to sleep. Visit other places next time. There are so many yet to cover in seoul!
