friendster is like something that is over.. now it's facebook.. started facebook account when i receied invites, but it's a dormant account.. but who knows after having the account, u received even more emails because of those kind of applications.. -_-"

monday 29 dec 2008: my escape from reality ended.. i'm back to my everyday boring, ordinary, normal life =/ waking up @ 6 am today for work is not easy. haiz.. spent everyday at work once again.. work from 8am to 2230 today.. i guess i ate too well in hokkaido.. was kind of sad when i did not have dinner tonight =X
I'm engaged in a war with papers at work..

tuesday 30 dec 2008: because i was absent from work for 7 days, i really cannot finish clearing.. work till 2200 again.. ot is expected and will continue.. luckily there's a new year holiday =)Labels: dazed

woke up @ 7 this morning so that I'll not be late for the train ride to the airport.. The weather today is better than yesterday..
Again, I did not talk much at breakfast.. Last day le.. what's with me? I did not greet young brother also, did not ask him why he was wearing so smartly today.
Last breakfast.. forgot to take picture..
To drag the luggage through all the snow is not easy.. to drag the luggage up and down the train is not easy.. phew.. The heavy handcarry bag is also killing me..
Bye to the place i have stayed for 10 days~
Thank you to the sister and brother who will watch out for me should I walk slower than them.
Thanks to the mother who made the delicious meal for me, help me with the clothes, yutanpo, paying attention to what i've said when i talk, ofuro, dollars that she has paid for me..
I'm really sorry for my lack of consideration, for not being responsive and sensitive enough, for not being able to bond well and engage in conversation..
took the internal flight, transfer bus and to narita.. from there half of them continue their journey in Tokyo while others went back Singapore. Arrived in Singapore and I reached home @ 1 plus am on 28th..Labels: last day

I ate breakfast for an hour today. Because it's alot and I have time. So I eat as I watched tv even though I do not understand la..
The wind was knocking against my window last night when I slept. This morning, all the snow stuck onto the window..
Host mother told me there's snow storm today. The Korean students who were supposed to come for homestay could not come as the flights were cancelled. Tomorrow, there will be storm too. So she wondered if our flight will be okie.. wa~ not so heng ba..
I went back to my room after that as I do not know what to do. It can be considered the last day already. Already forgotten my mission there, somewhat tired, having serious brain freeze again, I did not make conversation. haiz.. bad me..
@ 1200, host mother asked if I wanted to go to younger sister's primary school. Yes! i want! Primary school students do not have uniform. Nice right..
I cannot see clearly on my way there as the wind and snow is too strong. I only looked straight and followed host mother. The roads and pavement was not visible, covered with snow..
I'm all set to brave the storm again!
They started their holidays today. The very nice teacher showed me around the school.
I even took photo with the principal.. I have never done that before when i'm schooling..
I'm trying out Japanese drum with the help of the teacher.
Amazing after eating an hour's breakfast till 10 am, I'm hungry when it's 1300.. I did not do anything today except to go out and experience the snow storm..
I played with Kyo chan after lunch. She took out all the games she could find.
She's great! She actually folded all these. Are all Japanese good in 折り紙？
Host mother went out to clear the snow off her car.. I was wondering if I should go and look for her after almost an hour. Wa~ one hour lei..
Maybe it is because of where they stayed so they had alot of delivery. She ordered scallop ほたて. They are still well and alive in their shell. she tried to take them out of the shell but it moves!! I also tried and it's kind of scary when I put in the knife and it closes its shell.. haha.. that's one good experience.
Luckily host father is coming home today. Our dinner.. Fresh and tasty ほたて.

Everytime after a meal, I would feel sleepy and drowsy. I just want to fall into my bed and dont get up.. Out of sudden, 妹妹 wants to go KTV.. aahhhh.. stress.. because i'm the key.. But outside is cold, and i'm sleepy. She must be real disappointed..
Haiz.. I should have say yes. the moment i'm back to Singapore I felt like singing.. I want to beat myself up.. -_-"

My breakfast.. The bread was done in many different styles each day. Host mother is really creative.
Christmas day.. WenHui jio to go Sapporo station to shop. I should not go and go for yoga class with host mother then go to the lady's house instead? I think I have already forgotten the purpose of my trip there.
Christmas Eve and Christmas day are filled with lovers.. I love Ainosato line. There's no lovers on board.. hahaa..
I ate curry rice again today for lunch.
Suddenly I realise only homecook food can be done in many patterns. The food selling outside are those few only.
I love green tea!! This ice cream is the better than the Otaru lavender/melon ice cream. Do Japanese like soft cone very much? When I eat ice cream, I hope it can be in cup because I dont like to eat the soft cone biscuit.
I told my host mother that I'll be eating dinner at home and that I'll reach home @ 7pm.
When it is 6 pm, WenHui wanted to go Daimaru and Elaine needs to eat dinner. I waited at 1 corner instead. Then 20 -30 minutes passed and we did not see WenHui. I walked around to look for her. Then Elaine did the same thing. We even went to the information counter to make announcement.
The best part is the 2 of them claimed that their hp cannot be used and so kept it off. -_-"
So I called my host mother who ask me to call WenHui's host to inform her that she went missing. @ 1900, when i called, she was at home. =_=""" What is this man.. She actually went off by herself.. The JR line that both of us needs to take has a certain timing. 1800, 1820, 1840, 1900, 1920 blah blah.. The journey is 28 min, and to walk home takes 10 min. So backdating the time, she actually took the train @ 1820?? She still has the nerve to tell me that she was waiting for us and went off when she did not see us. Auntie why didnt you try to look for us? Angry lei..
By the time i took the train, it is 1920. When i reach Ainosato, it's 8 pm lorx..
It was raining, snowing and the wind is strong. I feel like an idiot. Blame it on my pig brain, why didnt I think that she would return first. So what if we are staying one block away.. f.. I feel like crying man.. It just once again proves that it never pays to be kind. I hate the kind side of me. (>.<)
I decided to stay home tomorrow. So I went to buy the miso soup and ramen since i'm passing by the supermarket.
I felt better buying something. Shopping helps to lift mood.
Their supermarket do not give plastic bags unless you request for it. People will bring their own bags to contain their things. That's something difficult to achieve in Singapore. Ganbate ne..
I'm angry and I thought I'll be able to finish everything. But I only ate half the rice and I did not eat the cake.. I told host mother that I'll eat tomorrow but I forgot about it!!
It is not a tradition in Singapore to eat Christmas cake. Because the cake here is so boring~ It is always log cake after log cake..
Every single cake and food in Hokkaido looks and tastes good.
I realised I had not listened to my mp3 that I listened to everyday in Singapore without getting sick of it. The 2nd way to lift my mood is to listen to music..
I can just sit in front of my computer, on my music loudly and surf the net for the whole day. Yes, I admit i'm 60% 宅。okie maybe 70%..
I stayed in my room and listen to music till late since I am not going out tomorrow..

I was being anti social this morning.. I did not greet people this morning.. I pretend not to see. I dont know why..
My breakfast.. hehe..
Christmas Eve. We are going to Otaru today. Host mother said she can bring me there along with the others. But the JR line from Ainosato to Otaru cost 900 yen! If she were to go, she would pay for me to and fro.. wow.. that's expensive.. Also does she needs to be around since younger sister will be back from school @ 3 pm?
So I told her it's okie and that the 4 of us will go there by ourselves.. Then she told me at night they would be gg over to her mother's house for Christmas celebration.. I wonder if I have no plan that day, will I be joining them?

The lavender and melon flavour ice cream. The lavender taste is too mild for me, while the melon taste like bubblegum to me. I dont like to chew gums, it gives me headache..

We went up to tenguyama to look at the night scene. There's this rooftop that we can go up to and look at them w/o the glass window.. beautiful~
Because it is Christmas Eve, there are many many couples! Imagine taking the cable car, went up to the rooftop to watch nightview together in the snow.. Quite romantic right..
Which mountain can we go to in Singapore? Get bitten by mosquito instead of romance..

Because it is the yr of ox next year they bought this for me. I was actually born in the year of ox. What's more, my birthday is going to be 09.09.09 ^.^
